To promote photosynthesis within the sod layer and to avoid root damage (scalping) we cut no more than 1/3 of the grasses total length at once. Maintaining lawns at a taller height will make them more drought tolerant and keep it greener during the heat of the summer while using less water.

Flat and vertical lawn edging is performed during every service to maintain a sharp, smooth defined edge between the lawn and gardens, borders or hard surfaces.

We prefer the use of hand tools to manually till weeds and grass by the roots. Although, in some cases such as gravel walkways and in gaps of pavers, an herbicide can be more effective. We apply herbicide only on the foliage of the targeted weeds so that every bit is absorbed into the plant and not leeched into the soil.

We blow every accessible surface (decks, entryways, patios, sidewalks, driveways) during every service while using caution around pedestrians, cars and pets.
